Do you know there’s an association for former members of EUROAVIA which promotes the relationship between them and the main association?
The idea of organizing a group for former EUROAVIA members was first discussed during the congress of 1992. The idea was not only to keep in touch with former members of the association, but strengthen the relationship between the association and the European Aerospace Industry through them.
Two concepts were proposed during the congress to get together the members. The first: former members will be part of their former Local Group and though them get all the advantages of being a member; the second, a more robust concept: all former members will be brought together independent from their former group, since these disappear though time. To get this idea working, a taskforce was created to get feedback from former members of the association, getting a positive response from them.
Due to problems with motivating inside the International Board the project was set on hold and then brought back onto the table in 2016 when EUROAVIA Alumni was officially founded. The Association usually conducts its Annual Meetings at the Airshows with Board Elections taking place at ILA. The Board and Executive Board develop and maintain the infrastructure needed for you to stay informed and in touch.
After you end your studies, will you join EUROAVIA Alumni?
