Happy holidays EUROAVIAns,
As this is the last month of the year, we hope all of you had an incredible year full of beautiful moments and experiences. We were so lucky to have met many of you who came to the AMEAC in September, our best wishes to you in this new year.
Even if it was the last month of the year, we never stopped with our activities inside AS Sevilla. First, we visited Skylife Engineering, a technology-based Spanish company that was born as a result of the academic and research training gathered inside University of Seville by the members of this initiative, specifically within the Electronic Technology Group of the University of Seville, with 40 years of R&D experience and more than a hundred research and technology-transfer projects. Furthermore, we enjoyed this opportunity thanks to our faculty advisor Mª Ángeles Martín Prats.
During our visit to their headquarters, they explained the history of the company and some of the aerospace technologies that they develop and then apply to other sectors. We could see first-hand our virtual simulators for aeronautics or our power electronics laboratory, among many other things. In addition, the HR department explained how their talent program works for internships at Skylife and the main professional profiles they are looking for.
Finally, we ended the year as we always do, with a lovely dinner, where our members got to know each other even more. Also, the members who assisted received a special gift for their collaboration and support throughout the year. We shared and enjoyed good food and quality time together and ended the dinner with our traditional EUROAVIA awards. The most active and known members of our Local Group who were voted received different awards to acknowledge their implication with EUROAVIA Sevilla.
Again, merry Christmas to all of you, we hope the best opportunities come for you in this new year.
