We’re already halfway through our business year, and what a ride it’s been. From hands-on experiences to high-level seminars. We’ve been busy and pushing our passion for aerospace to new heights. Let’s take a detailed look at everything we’ve done so far and what’s coming next.
11 October 2024 – Social Event “Who is That?”
We kicked things off with our classic introductory event. It was a day dedicated to discovering EUROAVIA Napoli, where newcomers had the chance to get to know our activities, meet some of our members, and get firsthand experience of what we do.
One of the highlights of the day was our flight simulator for plane models, where participants tested their piloting skills. The enthusiasm and engagement of everyone made this event a fantastic start to the year.
27 November 2024 – Seminar “AI Beyond the Horizon”
This seminar was one of the most insightful events we have had so far. Thanks to the contributions of ASI, Telespazio, Latitudo 40, Associazione Nalug, Politecnico di Torino, and Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, we explored the role of artificial intelligence in aerospace applications. Discussions ranged from current advancements to the future impact AI could have on space exploration and aviation.
The event was an excellent opportunity to engage with industry professionals and gain valuable knowledge about the direction in which technology is heading.
It was such a success with more than 120 participants that we even got cited in an article from a roman newspaper!
Additionally, as in previous years, our seminar granted ECTS to participating students, providing an extra incentive for everyone to join
27 January 2025 – Company Visit: Techno System Developments Space
One of the most anticipated activities of the year was our company visit to Techno System Developments Space. A group of 15 students had the chance to witness the cutting-edge advancements being made in fluid dynamics, microgravity, and space technologies.
The visit provided invaluable insights into the real-world applications of aerospace engineering concepts and offered an opportunity to connect with professionals working in the field.
The company was incredibly welcoming, and the experience left us all inspired by the possibilities within the industry.
3 March 2025 – Fusion Workshop “Houston we have a project”
Looking ahead, our IT Department is organizing an engaging and practical workshop where participants will learn to use Fusion to design their own Orion Capsule model.
This workshop is not only a great way to improve technical skills but also a chance to challenge creativity and precision in design. To make it even more exciting, the best design will be selected for additive manufacturing, and the creator will get to take their model home.
It is an excellent opportunity for those looking to enhance their CAD skills and gain hands-on experience with 3D printing technology.
