A Flying Start: EUROAVIA Paris at the Melun Airshow and EPF Rally
The beginning of this Business Year was filled with excitement for EUROAVIA Paris, as our members had the opportunity to participate in two major events: the Melun Air Legend Airshow and the traditional Associations Rally at EPF. Both occasions allowed us to strengthen our bond as a Local Group, promote the EUROAVIA spirit, and connect with students.
EUROAVIA Paris proudly took part in the Rally of Associations at EPF, our engineering school. This annual event gathers all student associations on campus and provides an excellent opportunity to showcase our activities to new students. Our stand attracted many new students curious about aerospace, and we had engaging conversations with them to join us. We presented EUROAVIA’s international network, our local projects, and upcoming activities planned for the year. The rally was also a great moment of teamwork for our members, who enthusiastically represented EUROAVIA’s values of collaboration, knowledge, and passion for aerospace.
Shortly after, on a sunny weekend in September, several of our members attended the Melun Airshow, one of the largest aviation gatherings in the Paris region. The event featured a stunning variety of aircraft, ranging from historic WWII planes to modern jets. For many of our members, it was a unique chance to witness breathtaking aerobatic displays and to interact directly with pilots, engineers, and aviation professionals. Beyond the impressive flight demonstrations, the air show also provided valuable insights into the technological advancements shaping today’s aerospace industry. This experience fueled our passion for aviation and inspired us to keep learning and contributing within EUROAVIA.
These two events marked an inspiring start to the academic year for EUROAVIA Paris. The Melun Air Legend Airshow reminded us of the beauty and ambition of aerospace, while the Associations Rally connected us with the next generation of passionate students. We are confident that these experiences will help us grow as a stronger Local Group and motivate us to contribute even more actively to the EUROAVIA community throughout the Business Year.
