With the successful conclusion of ExMEAC & AMEAC 2025, EUROAVIA Patras was immensely proud to have hosted one of EUROAVIA’s most significant events! The organizing experience has been a huge learning curve, leaving our members fully equipped and ready to take on new challenges throughout the upcoming year!
As the new academic year begins, EUROAVIA Patras has launched its recruitment campaign to unite and gather a new generation of EUROAVIAns! Staying true to our goal of inclusivity, our campaign targets any student with skills that fit our Working Group or Project goals — something that is clearly represented in the promotional content prepared by our Marketing WG. This year, we also tried a different approach to our recruitment process: a dedicated Recruitment Task Force was established, significantly boosting our efficiency and time management during the influx of new members!

In addition to recruitment, EUROAVIA Patras participated in two freshmen welcoming ceremonies at the Faculties of Mechanical Engineering & Aeronautics and Electrical & Computer Engineering. Our President and Secretary respectively delivered brief presentations outlining the local and international benefits of joining our association.
During the second week of October, EUROAVIA Patras once again took center stage at the university’s largest student festival, UPFest 25! Over the two-day event, our highly visited booth featured merch, magazines, the History Book, stickers, and notably, two aircraft: our 2024 ACC challenger “Aether” and our Airplane Project craft, which is nearly ready for its maiden flight! We were clearly the No.1 student attraction at UPFest !

To wrap up October, the Local Board, along with our new Working Group and Project Coordinators, is focused on finalizing the Business Plan for the upcoming year and organizing our next steps. With motivation and determination at an all-time high, these plans will be presented to all members at our 1st General Meeting on November 8th. We are definitely looking forward to a very productive November!
