After an exciting start to the academic year, EUROAVIA València continued its journey through October with a series of unforgettable activities that brought our members even closer together.
On Wednesday, October 2nd, we took part in the Generación Espontánea Fair held at the Ágora of the UPV. This event, larger in scale than the one in September, gave us the incredible opportunity to showcase who we are and what we do to hundreds of students and important university representatives. It was a proud moment for EUROAVIA València to stand among other innovative student groups, sharing our passion for aerospace and technology.
As tradition dictates, from October 3rd to 5th, we celebrated our first Astronomical Observation Workshop of the academic year in Escenas, Utiel. Under a blanket of stars, our members had the chance to learn about the wonders of the cosmos that remind us how vast and mysterious our universe truly is.
Beyond stargazing, the weekend also included a hiking route through the surrounding landscapes, allowing us to enjoy nature, share laughter, and strengthen our bonds as a group.
The adventures didn’t stop there! On October 8th, some lucky members visited the Valencia Air Traffic Control Tower, where they discovered firsthand how the approach and landing operations are coordinated. It was a fascinating experience that gave us an inside look at one of the most critical aspects of aviation.
Later in the month, on Thursday, October 16th, we participated in the Telecommunications Engineering Faculty Fair. Similar to the GE Fair but on a smaller scale, this event gave us another opportunity to meet curious students, answer their questions, and invite them to join our ever-growing family.
Finally, to wrap up the month in style, we will host our Halloween Dinner on October 30th. Members are encouraged to bring their most creative costumes, the best dressed will win a special prize! It will be the perfect way to celebrate the spooky season together, surrounded by good food, good company, and the EUROAVIA spirit.
October has been a month filled with energy, discovery, and camaraderie. As the semester unfolds, we can’t wait to see what November has in store for us!
