Dear EUROAVIAns,
We are happy to share that this year’s Head Start Session was a wonderful and inspiring experience for our newest members. Held during the weekend of 15–16 October 2025, the event welcomed enthusiastic students ready to discover what it means to be part of the EUROAVIA community and to take their first steps into the world of collaboration and growth.
Over the course of the weekend, participants took part in three soft-skills training sessions, each centered around essential abilities such as communication, teamwork, and self-awareness. Through a series of interactive and unconventional activities, they explored various communication styles, learned how to practice active listening, and understood the importance of providing constructive feedback — skills that will support them throughout their journey in the Association and beyond.
The atmosphere was warm and engaging, as the activities encouraged both individual reflection and teamwork. One of the defining aspects of the Head Start Session is its focus on continuity, and this year was no exception. The workshops were conducted by a team formed of both certified trainers and experienced EUROAVIA members. This combination allowed participants to benefit from professional guidance while also connecting with trainers who understand the EUROAVIA environment from within.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the trainers who dedicated their time and energy to making this edition truly memorable. Their commitment, patience, and genuine passion for supporting the participants’ progress played a crucial role in creating a motivating and welcoming learning environment.
Beyond the social enjoyment and the many laughs shared throughout the weekend, the Head Start Session had a clear educational purpose — one that was fully achieved. Although short, the experience was intense and meaningful, offering our new members the chance to grow, discover their strengths, and gain the confidence needed to get involved in the Association’s upcoming projects and events.
We extend our warmest thanks to all participants, trainers, and organizers who contributed to this event. Your dedication, effort, and enthusiasm shaped a memorable weekend that will surely leave a positive mark on the new generation of EUROAVIAns.
