AS Paris February 2026 update

Over the last few months, Euroavia Paris has organized multiple events to continue our dynamic of learning more about aerospace and strengthening the bonds within our association.

To welcome our new members, we hosted an after-work in a bar near EPF Engineering School. This first get-together allowed us to get to know each other better, discussions about our academic backgrounds, career aspirations, and shared enthusiasm for aeronautics and space, making it a landmark site for anyone interested in aviation heritage.

Our first major event for the new members was a visit to the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace, located next to Paris-Le Bourget Airport, the largest museum in the Paris region dedicated to aerospace. Opened in 1974, the museum occupies the historic terminal of Le Bourget Airport and offers a comprehensive overview of the history of air and space exploration.

We met one Sunday morning to explore its extensive collections, tracing the evolution of flight from the pioneers of aviation to the technological breakthroughs of the Second World War, to the birth of the Concorde, the French space program, and to today. Walking through the different halls and outdoor exhibits, we were able to appreciate both early experimental aircraft and later high-performance machines that marked major milestones in aerospace engineering.

Over the halls and outside the museum, we got to visit the cabin of a Concorde prototype and a Boeing 747-128, discovering firsthand the design and scale of these iconic aircraft. We also passed in front of Ariane 5, a Mirage 2000, the Leduc 022, and the Dassault Mercure before all having lunch together. This experience was great as we got to learn a lot about the history of aerospace and for several members, it was their first time at the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace, making the experience both educational and memorable.

In parallel, several cake sales were carried out at EPF Engineering School during morning breaks in order to raise funds for future projects and events. These initiatives demonstrated the active involvement of our members in supporting AS Paris’s long-term development.

Our most recent event was a team-building evening at a bar, where, in the same spirit as our after-work in September, we gathered all in a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the evening all together. This has given way to some announcements, notably the arrival of a flight simulator, a major step forward for AS Paris. This exciting project will be detailed in our next contribution…
