AS Napoli March 2026 updates

Over the past months, EUROAVIA Napoli has actively promoted opportunities for its members to engage with both academia and industry, fostering connections, expanding knowledge, and experiencing aerospace from multiple perspectives.

Dual Horizons: Where Sea and Sky Collide
EUROAVIA Napoli, in collaboration with the UNINA Sailing Team, organized the seminar “Dual Horizons: Where Sea and Sky Collide” at the University of Naples Federico II.

The event explored the strong connections between naval and aeronautical engineering, highlighting shared principles, tools, and cross-disciplinary applications. From hydrofoils seen as “wings in water” to multi-role seaplanes, aerodynamics and hydrodynamics were presented as a unified design challenge

New Space Economy ExpoForum (NSE), Rome
EUROAVIA Napoli took part in the New Space Economy ExpoForum (NSE) in Rome, one of Europe’s leading events dedicated to the space sector.

The event brought together industry leaders, institutions, startups, and academia, offering a dynamic environment where innovation, policy, and business converge. Through exhibitions, conferences, and networking activities, participants explored the latest developments in satellite technologies, Earth observation, and future space missions.

An important opportunity to engage with the evolving landscape of the space economy and connect with key players in the industry.

Company Visit to CIRA
EUROAVIA Napoli organized a visit to CIRA  Centro Italiano Ricerche Aerospaziali, providing participants with direct exposure to one of Italy’s most advanced aerospace research centers.

Among the highlights was the Scirocco Plasma Wind Tunnel (PWT), one of the most powerful facilities worldwide, capable of simulating extreme atmospheric reentry conditions and testing full-scale Thermal Protection Systems (TPS).

An inspiring experience connecting academic knowledge with real-world aerospace innovation.
