An association lives from its members therefore our AS committed to introducing itself to incoming freshmen and recruiting new members. Taking advantage of one of the main freshmen courses (Math pre-course) some of our dedicated members distributed flyers and introduced EUROAVIA to the students. Additionally, there was a presentation during the opportunities fair and maintained two stands during the campus rally.
All this led a successful freshmen evening with a high turnout, new members, and lots of fun. With snacks and drinks the association was presented by the board, and important tips for start of the semester were given. Moreover, the different offers for the freshmen were proposed, such as: the freshman mentoring, CAD-Introduction, and our upcoming field trips.
After that, some active experienced members talked to the freshmen and answered many questions about the studies at the university and gave tips and advice for the life as a student.
A heartfelt thank you to all the hardworking members that helped to introduce the EUROAVIA to the freshmen!
