Wadi Degla trip from AM Cairo

March 25, 2024March 25, 2024 by Communication WG

Unwinding from the exasperating tasks and arduous work we have put in throughout the past few weeks, we yearned for making our weekend a soothing, yet a thrilling one. Wadi Degla Protectorate was our port of call.

An adventurous hike was set to be the first activity of the day, the switchbacks up the valleys promising both breathtaking views and burning legs. Cameras in hand, we documented our experience with lots of photographs to get some core memories to look back on. Playing Tug of war, Frisbee, and flying gliders were among the activities that brought euphoric moments and lots of laughter to the place. We had to end it with an exquisite lunch, but we EUROAVIans have done it our way; a barbeque party was of the utmost necessity, after such a thrilling day, with mouth-watering food while enjoying the panoramic sunset view. At the end of the day, it is always important not to forget about enjoying life while putting in the work and that’s what we do in EUROAVIA Cairo.
