Hello EUROAVIA!
April kicked off with great momentum for us, starting with our very first company visit of the year. We had the incredible opportunity to explore the ATC Towers at Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport and in Elliniko. It was a truly eye-opening experience that gave us a behind-the-scenes look into the fascinating world of air traffic control.
Later in the month, several of our dedicated board members travelled to Lyon to attend the EUROAVIA Congress Electoral Meeting (EMEAC). It was inspiring to reconnect with fellow members from other affiliated societies. Congratulations to everyone who was elected—we are excited to see what you will bring to your new roles! We were also proud to officially announce that we will be hosting ExMEAC and AMEAC this September! This has been in the works for some time, and sharing the news made it feel all the more real and exciting.
This month, we also had the pleasure of attending the 3-day networking event organised by EUROAVIA Athens, in collaboration with Leonardo Helicopters. The event was an incredible opportunity to connect with professionals from the aerospace industry, exchange ideas, and gain valuable insights into career paths and innovations in aviation.
On top of all that, we are excited to share that we have completed the video shootings for the upcoming trailer of our podcast, Space Mics! The team had a great time working on it, and we can’t wait to show you the final result. Stay tuned—it is coming very soon! Finally, as Easter break began, we hope everyone had the chance to relax, recharge, and enjoy some quality time with loved ones.
