Airbus Sloshing Rocket Workshop Finals

October 1, 2025October 1, 2025 by Communication WG

During the past year, EUROAVIA Forlì-Bologna has been fully engaged in preparing the 6th edition of the Airbus Sloshing Rocket Workshop, which took place in late August 2025. The organization of such an international event has represented both a challenge and an opportunity, shaping the board into a more cohesive and resilient team.

From the very beginning, the preparation required constant dedication.

The board reached out to more than fifty companies, designed merchandise and advertising materials, and worked to organize a company fair aimed at fostering dialogue between students, local enterprises, and institutions about the aerospace sector and its future growth.

Although not every outreach attempt was successful, each step became a valuable learning experience and a chance to strengthen the group’s teamwork.

The workload, especially in the final months before the event, brought moments of stress and pressure. Yet, these highs and lows were managed with professionalism and determination.

Each challenge highlighted the board’s ability to stay focused, showing not only technical and organizational skills but also a deep understanding of the association’s role within the university and the local community.

The Airbus Sloshing Rocket Workshop took place from the 25th to the 30th of August in the Aeronautical technical institute of Forlì, which welcomed 30 students divided in five teams, coming from Greece, Turkey, Spain and Romania.

The first days, both for the organizers and the competitors, were highly stressful, due to wrong materials and miscommunication, but soon enough the rithm of the competition was settled and the workshop became a place in which everyone could enjoy their time. The competition was won from the DeltaV dynamics, a Greek team that demonstrated high dedication and perseverance during the entire event.

The workshop was also the frame for AS Forlì-Bologna, to host their aerospace forum, where companies, university researchers and local and regional institutions had the opportunity to discuss and share the different technologies and possibilities that the aerospace sector has for them.

We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to work on this competition, and we would do it again anytime, for that we should thank the amazing people from EUROAVIA which helped us make sure everything went smoothly and correctly!
