2024 has been an incredibly productive year for our team, filled with events, trips, and competitions. As the year draws to a close, let’s take a look back at what our team has accomplished.
December is a month of joy, magic, and family. At EUROAVIA Sevilla, we wanted to celebrate the final month of the year with a series of unique and special activities fitting for the season.
Dear EUROAVIAns, in November the local board of AS Pisa showcased its imagination and creativity by introducing “AstroNovember”, a captivating series of events hosted in November, all connected by the theme of space.
December has been a month of new beginnings for EUROAVIA Patras, marked by the first team meetings of the year!
From October 26th to 30th, AS Munich, joined by members from AS Dresden and AS Aachen, embarked on a trip to Hamburg, one of Europe’s premier aviation hubs. Over five days, the group of 25 participants immersed themselves in the city’s dynamic aerospace ecosystem, gaining firsthand insights into cutting-edge technologies, future career opportunities, and the community that drives the aviation industry.
It was in 11th grade when I discovered the “Fly a Rocket!” programme organised by the European Space Agency (ESA) in collaboration with Andøya Space and the Norwegian Space Agency. I set the goal of applying to this initiative that brings together university students from across ESA member states to gain hands-on experience in the space industry. So, as soon as I got into college, in my first year of aerospace engineering bachelor’s degree, I accomplished this dream.
We welcomed December with an exciting “Space Talks” event! We delved into the depths of the universe with Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Özel, one of the leading experts in the field.
Middle East Technical University (METU) was excited to host the 16th Aviation Days, a yearly event organised by the METU Aerospace Society (ODTÜ HUT) that brings together aviation enthusiasts, professionals, and students to explore the limitless opportunities within the aviation and aerospace industries. It is one of the most eagerly awaited gatherings for anyone passionate about flight and innovation.
From October 26th to 31st, EUROAVIA Toulouse proudly hosted the Ideathon at École Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (ENAC), a premier aerospace school in Europe. With 33 participants from across Europe and beyond, this international event was a celebration of innovation, teamwork, and cultural exchange, offering attendees an unforgettable experience both academically and socially.

The event provided a dynamic platform for knowledge-sharing and networking, enabling participants to exchange ideas, gain insights into cutting-edge developments, and explore career opportunities within the industry.
