AS Braunschweig visits A320 Flight Simulator

September 11, 2024September 11, 2024 by Communication WG

At the end of April this year, members of our local group in Braunschweig had the unique opportunity to visit the flight simulator at TU Braunschweig. This simulator offers an incredibly realistic replication of the cockpit of a modern Airbus A320 and is part of the Institute of Flight Guidance (IFF). This setup allowed two participants to sit in the cockpit at a time, taking turns in the pilot’s seat.

The Soaring Legacy of Hot Air Balloons in Paris from AS Bordeaux

August 30, 2024August 30, 2024 by Communication WG

The history of hot air balloons is deeply intertwined with the city of Paris, where dreams of flight first became a reality. This journey, rooted in the Enlightenment, began with the audacious experiments of the Montgolfier brothers in the 18th century and continues to inspire innovation today. The 2024 Paris Olympics will pay tribute to this legacy with a unique, flying Olympic Cauldron, symbolizing France’s enduring spirit of creativity and adventure.

Empowering Students Through Competitions and Technical Projects from AM Cairo

July 29, 2024July 29, 2024 by Communication WG

As students, we are always striving to learn and develop our skills. However, deciding whether to pursue an academic or industry career path can be challenging. One effective way to explore our interests is by participating in student competitions. Over the years, it has been proven that competitions help students become more innovative, develop critical thinking skills, gain more knowledge, and acquire hands-on experience that cannot be obtained solely through university coursework.
