At the beginning of this Business Year, we realised our beloved AS Forlì-Bologna was about to turn 5 years-old. Even

We organise events together like visits to the manufacturing plant of Airbus in Hamburg or a trip to Hannover to visit the Bundeswehr and their fleet of A400M. All these activities take place once a year in a meetup in one of the towns in which EUROAVIA is represented in. Previous instalments of this tradition were hosted by Bremen (2021), Aachen (2022), Stuttgart (2023) and now for the 4th year in a row we were able to organise such a get-together. This year in – maybe the most beautiful German city – Dresden.
Space Meetings Veneto is a specialised event that fosters connections and collaborations within the space sector over three days. The event brings together upstream and downstream suppliers, aeronautics companies, investors, buyers, research centres, government agencies, and space agencies.
It was such a pleasure to organise and host our first Model Airplane Workshop at the National Technical University of Athens! Together, we had the chance to not only learn exciting facts but also how to construct them from the ground up. We had a great time meeting all of our participants whose impeccable determination helped them succeed and build amazing models!
Last month, AS Lisboa concluded the scheduled activities for their members, namely field trips to two of the most prominent aerospace industries in Lisbon.
Between May 7th -12th, 2024, AS Ankara had the opportunity to receive EUROAVIA members from all around Europe for the One World One Fight Symposium, an event focused on the challenges faced in the aerospace industry by individuals such as gender discrimination, racism. The symposium aims to emphasize a collective effort to address global issues such as sustainability in the aerospace industry, security concerns faced in both civil and military aviation and problems faced in international joint projects.
EUROAVIA’s Welcome Event was based on strategic promotions, including engaging presentations and a lively “Tag der studentischen Initiativen” (TDSI) where students get the possibility to get insights into the different student organisations. These efforts successfully laid the groundwork for the main event, attracting students to learn more about EUROAVIA’s mission and join the Welcome Event.
To AS València, May has been a month full of activities and fun. And it’s no wonder, since it’s the last full month of the academic year and we had to make the most of it.

At the beginning of this Business Year, we realised our beloved AS Forlì-Bologna was about to turn 5 years-old. Even though the first idea of founding the Local Group dates to 2017, due to bureaucratical problems it was officially founded only on January 16th, 2019. Celebrating this important achievement was a must, and thus, the Lustrum was organised on April 13th, 2024.
