Chrysanthi Sarasiti

Hi, I am Chrysanthi Sarasiti from the Local Group of Athens, and I have been a member of EUROAVIA for 5 years. I am in my last year of university studies in Mechanical Engineering and the reason I joined the Association is because I really like reading space facts. I am passionate about swimming and dancing, and I love talking to people. In the EUROAVIA Blog, I am currently responsible for the Interviews section. The section includes blog articles from people currently running the EUROAVIA engine, their perspective on our Association, and their vision and dreams. I am really happy and honored to be able to write their point of view and I hope you enjoy reading their interviews!
David Kortsik

Hi, I’m David, an Aerospace Engineering student and active EUROAVIA member based in Germany. I contribute to the Design, Communication, HR, and IT working groups, driven by a passion for innovation and technology. I love exploring complex topics and engaging in meaningful discussions that push boundaries. Outside of academics, I enjoy creative pursuits like building Lego, cooking delicious meals, experimenting with minimalist design, and immersing myself in science fiction. I’m also an avid reader with a strong appreciation for lifelong learning. Whether it’s tackling challenging projects or exploring new horizons, I bring enthusiasm and a forward-thinking mindset to everything I do.
Johan Birnie Hernández

Adopted by Italy, living 10.000 km away from home and mixing three languages on a daily basis. He’s an Aerospace and Mechanical Engineer, doing a PhD at the University of Bologna. He loves to read, watch sports (especially football), explore new cities (you could expect him to do +30.000 steps a day) and if he’s around an airport, he’ll probably get lost in his own thoughts staring at aircraft. You probably have read his articles about space and the “did you know?”. If you are looking for him, there’s a great chance you can find him at laFeltrinelli buying for books that only God knows when he’ll have the time to read them.
Momen Kazzafy

Hi, I’m Momen Kazzafy! I’m a physics student who’s always curious about how things work, especially when it comes to the universe, the mind, and the unseen connections between them. I enjoy exploring new ideas, taking on challenges, and finding creative ways to solve problems. I’m also passionate about teamwork and leadership, which is why I love being part of EUROAVIA, where I get to collaborate with people from around the world. In my free time, you’ll probably find me digging into a new concept, organizing events, or just enjoying a good conversation about big ideas.
Valentin Visinescu

Hello all! I’m Vali and even though you might not know me, you probably read an article written by me in the last 2 years. I’ve studied Aerospace Engineering until last year when I graduated and moved on to study a master’s called IT applied in Aviation (we all know that aviation is addictive and even though I wanted to learn computer vision I’ve tried to tie it to aviation). I’m also part of EUROAVIA Bucharest and after some experience in the (back then) Social Media Department, I wanted to meet new people and gain new experiences, so the Communication WG move was natural. Here, in the spring of 2021, I started to write articles for the Aeronautical Blog together with Ademar and then Johan and I enjoy writing them as much as I did when I started.
Besides aviation and, nowadays, data science, I love history, I enjoy reading about how things were in the past and seeing the development of aviation in the last century, and you might have seen that throughout some articles. I really hope you enjoy Aerotrivia and maybe you learned something new from our articles or at least you smile when you test your luck without reading the article in the quiz on Instagram.
Oh, and one last thing #joincommunication 😊
