AM Cairo July 2026 Updates

July has been a month of transitions and new connections for AM Cairo. While internal
changes are still taking shape behind the scenes, the group has been very much
present on campus, most notably at our university’s Open House event, where we
had the chance to introduce EUROAVIA to the next generation of aerospace students.
The Open House was an exciting opportunity to step out and engage directly with
incoming students. AM Cairo set up a dedicated booth at the event, welcoming new
faces arriving at the university and giving them a glimpse into what EUROAVIA is and
what membership in our local group can offer. Through brief but enthusiastic
presentations at the booth, we explained EUROAVIA’s mission as a pan-European
aerospace student association, what it means to be part of AM Cairo specifically, and
the kinds of activities, events, and opportunities that come with it. The energy at the
event was high, and it was genuinely rewarding to see the curiosity and interest from
students who had never heard of EUROAVIA before.

Outreach moments like this are vital for the long-term health of any local group.
Growing our membership base starts with visibility, and being present at an event
designed specifically to welcome new students is exactly the kind of initiative we want
to be part of regularly. We hope that some of the students we met at the booth will find
their way to AM Cairo in the weeks ahead and become active contributors to
everything we do.

On the internal side, AM Cairo is in the midst of a restructuring process that has been
in motion since the graduations at the end of last semester. Changes are underway,
but we are not quite ready to share the full picture just yet. We want to make sure
everything is properly finalised before making any announcements, and we look
forward to sharing the details with the wider EUROAVIA community very soon.
All in all, July has reminded us that AM Cairo’s story is a continuous one: old
chapters closing, new ones opening, and the work of building a strong, active local
group always ongoing. We are excited about what the coming months have in store,
and we look forward to keeping you updated as things develop.
