During the past Business Year, the AS Beograd team had the opportunity to organise the Southeast Europe General Aviation conference – SEGA 2024, with our long-term partner APS Aviation Parts Service. The SEGA conference was held from September 18th to the 20th. The first two days of the conference were hosted at the Hilton Hotel in Belgrade, while the third day took place at the sports airfield Ečka near Zrenjanin.

September 2024 Update from AS Castelldefels
During the past months, in AS Castelldefels we enjoyed several (very) interesting activities! In May, we got the opportunity to visit the main railway operation and maintenance facilities in Catalonia, FGC. We learned the basics of how trains are maintained and repaired, and how electricity is driven through the whole railway network to make the biggest renewable-source public transport system of the region do wonders!
Chapter 5 – The foundation of modern EUROAVIA (1990-1999)
With the introduction of the new Statutes and Bylaws, EUROAVIA showed a strong and unified image in Europe, being considered the top association for aerospace youth activities by winning awards like the “European Space Trophy”. Today’s EUROAVIA was shaped during the decade of the 1990s, which served as a period of strengthening and restructuring of the association.
Revival of EUROAVIA Leuven: A Year in Review
After a significant decline in activities during the COVID-19 pandemic, EUROAVIA Leuven lost much of its presence among students and within the international community. The lack of engagement, particularly in aerospace-related events beyond the classroom, was felt deeply by students. This dissatisfaction inspired four motivated individuals to take action and breathe new life into the organisation. AS Paris changed its local board at the end of June 2024 and we are pleased to present you: Julien Bordier, the president; and Andréa Rambourg, the vice president. Both are starting their 4th year at the EPF Engineering School in Aeronautics & Space master’s degree. They are both currently doing their internships at FutureLog (logistics) in Paris and the business jet airline Air Alsie in Denmark. The secretary Clément Perez and the treasurer Antoine Madej, are both in their 3rd year, and are therefore taking over.
