Bonjour EUROAVIAns! Between 23rd and 29th March, AS Lyon had the privilege to host the Electoral Meeting of the EUROAVIA Congress (EMEAC). The event brought together students, ideas and cultures in a week packed with enriching discussions, unforgettable memories and the everlasting EUROAVIA spirit.
With the introduction of the new Statutes and Bylaws, EUROAVIA showed a strong and unified image in Europe, being considered the top association for aerospace youth activities by winning awards like the “European Space Trophy”. Today’s EUROAVIA was shaped during the decade of the 1990s, which served as a period of strengthening and restructuring of the association.

Although in the next two months we’ll host the two biggest events of the year, we were still able to keep up with our internal rule of organising something for our members every month.

Our board members recently embarked on a thrilling adventure—from celebrating EUROAVIA’s 65th anniversary at the Lustrum event to actively shaping the organisation’s future during the EMEAC between March 30th to the April 5th.
Recently, the Electoral Meeting of the EUROAVIA Congress (EMEAC) took place in Bremen, where the Designated International Board (DIB) was elected. But did you know that the first EMEAC also took place in German soil back in 1990?
