The past months have been a particularly dynamic and creative period for our team, filled with technical activities, industry engagement, outreach initiatives, and valuable experiences for our members. Through a wide range of events and actions, we continue to grow, innovate, and bring aviation closer to students and society.
One of the highlights of this period was our visit to the Control Tower of Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”, as well as the Air Traffic Control facilities in Hellinikon. Guided by experienced professionals, we gained first-hand insight into the organization and operation of air traffic management, developing a deeper understanding of this critical sector of aviation.

Strengthening our connection with the industry, we hosted a company presentation by Apella SA, where our members had the opportunity to interact with professionals, explore career paths, and receive valuable advice for their future. In addition, we participated once again in Talent Days in Athens, engaging with leading companies and exploring professional opportunities in technology, engineering, and marketing.

A major focus for our team during this period has been the preparation for the Air Cargo Challenge 2026, which will take place this summer in Stuttgart. As part of this effort, we conducted tests at the NTUA Wind Tunnel, evaluating the performance of our aircraft’s propulsion system and collecting valuable data to further optimize our design for efficiency and reliability. At the same time, our team continues to expand into new technological fields, with our Electrical team currently developing a quadcopter project, enhancing our expertise in control systems, automation, and unmanned aerial vehicle technologies.

Our outreach activities were further strengthened through our participation in the NTUA Open Days 2026, where we presented our projects to students and visitors, inspiring the next generation of engineers. We also took part in the Panorama event, connecting with the broader business and innovation ecosystem.
Finally, one of the most memorable moments of this period was our anniversary event celebrating 20 years of EUROAVIA Athens. In a truly special atmosphere, we celebrated our journey, reflected on our achievements, and shared our vision for the future with alumni, members, partners, and friends.

As we move forward, we remain committed to innovation, collaboration, and continuous development, always aiming to reach new heights.
