April brought a combination of activities and work for EUROAVIA Patras, from our Podcast’s engaging initiative to event preparations and great progress across our projects.
The month started off strong for our Local Group, with the Space Mics Podcast’s initiative to cover the Artemis II Mission. The live-streamed episode attracted a large number of views, and it featured the lift-off, along with a detailed discussion about the mission and its importance.

The ninth edition of 20 Minutes of Innovation, the annual engineering event organized by EUROAVIA Patras, is now closer than ever. As a result, April was a busy month for its organizing team, with ongoing discussions with potential speakers, companies, and sponsors. At the same time, we can see that the event has already started taking shape, with media promotion, and posters and merchandise being created.
After attending a successful EMEAC at Bucharest, EUROAVIA Patras organized a visit for its members to Apella S.A., an aviation Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organization and gold sponsor of our team. The visit included a tour of the maintenance facilities and the specialized workshops, as well as an engaging presentation on the company’s structure and activities

As for our WGs and Projects, weekly meetings continue as usual. More specifically, the Atlas – M.ACH ACC team, continues working on their aircraft, having made progress in its manufacturing process, while our ASRW team is ready to face stage 2 of the competition. Our Airplane Project also carried out a successful test flight of its new aircraft, making its members proud and happy to see their work come to life.
