What a week!
The Airbus Sloshing Rocket Workshop 2026 Final has come to an end, and we can finally take a moment to catch our breath and tell you what the first edition organized by EUROAVIA Rzeszów looked like.
For several days, Rzeszów became a meeting point for five teams from across Europe, who came together to design, build and launch their rockets. We saw plenty of creative ideas, unconventional solutions and… Very different results during the launches.
There were high flights, low flights, and even some rockets that decided to stay firmly on the ground.
In the end, however, there could only be one winner!

Congratulations to all the teams, and thank you for the great atmosphere and the time we spent together! We hope to see you again at future editions.
But what did the competition actually look like from the organizer’s perspective?
Everything started with a welcome dinner, where the participants had the opportunity to meet our team and each other. The following day marked the beginning of the workshop itself – the teams were given access to professional facilities, where they spent the next few days working on their designs.
There was also plenty of time to explore Rzeszów and for the teams to get to know each other. Before the launch day, participants also had the opportunity to meet representatives of the aerospace industry and learn more about companies working in aviation and modern technologies.
We would like to thank the representatives of Safran Transmissions Systems Poland, Safran Aircraft Engines Poland, Airbus, MathWorks and Podkarpackie Centrum Innowacji for their time and for sharing their knowledge and experience with the participants.

For us, the Airbus Sloshing Rocket Workshop 2026 was a huge dose of fun, new experiences and responsibility.
This time, we got to see the competition from a completely different perspective—not as participants, but as organizers. And we have to admit… It’s a completely different experience!
