AS València October 2026 Updates

October has been a month packed with learning, inspiring encounters, and unforgettable moments for EUROAVIA València!

From October 4 to 6, our members kicked off the month with our annual Astronomical Observation Workshop in Escenas, Utiel. Under a clear night sky, participants learned about observational astronomy, set up telescopes, and explored the wonders of the cosmos together.

On Thursday, October 15, we had the privilege of hosting Iván Tejada, former director of Valencia Airport, for an inspiring talk. He shared his career trajectory, key insights into airport management, and valuable advice on leadership with our students. The aviation insights continued the very next day, Friday, October 16, when a group of our members visited the Valencia Airport Control Tower to experience firsthand how air traffic and approach operations are coordinated.

The excitement didn’t stop there. On October 20, we embarked on a trip to the Albacete Air Base (Base Aérea de Albacete – Ala 14), where our members discovered the operations of one of Spain’s key military air units, exploring its facilities and learning about combat aircraft operations up close.

Finally, to close out October in style, we celebrated our Halloween Dinner on October 30. Members brought their best creative costumes, enjoying great food, company, and the unbeatable EUROAVIA spirit.

October has been a month full of energy, discovery, and camaraderie. As we head into November, we can’t wait for all the exciting activities yet to come! Stay tuned!
