September 28, 2024September 28, 2024 by Communication WG

During the past months, in AS Castelldefels we enjoyed several (very) interesting activities! In May, we got the opportunity to visit the main railway operation and maintenance facilities in Catalonia, FGC. Revival of EUROAVIA Leuven: A Year in Review

September 22, 2024September 22, 2024 by Communication WG

After a significant decline in activities during the COVID-19 pandemic, EUROAVIA Leuven lost much of its presence among students and within the international community. The lack of engagement, particularly in aerospace-related events beyond the classroom, was felt deeply by students. This dissatisfaction inspired four motivated individuals to take action and breathe new life into the organisation. What followed was a year full of revitalisation, enthusiasm, and an ambitious calendar of events. Here’s an overview of our first year back in action.

AS Braunschweig visits A320 Flight Simulator

September 11, 2024September 11, 2024 by Communication WG

At the end of April this year, members of our local group in Braunschweig had the unique opportunity to visit the flight simulator at TU Braunschweig. This simulator offers an incredibly realistic replication of the cockpit of a modern Airbus A320 and is part of the Institute of Flight Guidance (IFF). Like the real aircraft, the simulator’s cockpit is equipped with two seats, reflecting the fact that the A320 is operated by two pilots. This setup allowed two participants to sit in the cockpit at a time, taking turns in the pilot’s seat.
