As the year 2023 comes to an end, we can assure you that we have had a busy and productive year at AS Patras! Specifically, during December, we have been working on our projects, organizing our future plans, meeting new members, and getting to know each other better. We have gained a lot of knowledge and skills from each other and as a bonus we strengthened our bonds.

Aeronautical companies around the world are actively seeking new ways to reduce CO2 emissions and have greener aviation. Airbus, one of the largest companies, has recently performed its first demonstration flight with a hydrogen-powered turbine.

An association lives from its members therefore our AS committed to introducing itself to incoming freshmen and recruiting new members. Taking advantage of one of the main freshmen courses (Math pre-course) some of our dedicated members distributed flyers and introduced EUROAVIA to the students. Additionally, there was a presentation during the opportunities fair and maintained two stands during the campus rally.

It has been a busy month here in Sevilla, our local group has visited a military base; the National Institute of Aerospace Technology, INTA; and Babcock, a company dedicated to helicopter testing and maintenance.

AS Munich recently organized a visit to the Airbus Production Line in Hamburg, Finkenwerder. With the support of Katharina Krieger, one of our alumni working at Airbus, the visit was a fantastic opportunity for EUROAVIA members from different Local Groups to come together, connect, and explore the fascinating world of aerospace.

Our local group, AS Rzeszow, has started preparations for AirCargo Challenge competition, which will be held next year in Aachen, Germany. Through recruiting, trainings, and cooperation our aim is to assemble a team capable of surpassing the achievements of our previous aircraft.
Nowadays, most of us may think about aviation as an innovative but strict engineering domain that is more about building marvels of engineering or flying
